They clear the side rail, line up with all the carriage bolt channels, and keep the awning at the perfect profile and height. They’re incredibly high quality and beefy mounts, you can see and feel it right out of the box. We ended up using three, not because two aren’t strong enough to secure it to the roof but to help reinforce the hinge area on the awning itself when it’s deployed without the support leg. It is so solid I could probably hang off that thing. (Seattle) | July 15th, 2024 We recently purchased the Prinsu Pro roof rack for our GX460 and were looking for a mounting solution for an 8’ Shadow Awn 270..Came across these mounts and they’re perfect! They clear the side rail, line up with all the carriage bolt channels, and keep the awning at the perfect profile and height. They’re incredibly high quality and beefy mounts, you can see and feel it right out of the box. We ended up using three, not because two aren’t strong enough to secure it to the roof but to help reinforce the hinge area on the awning itself when it’s deployed without the support leg. It is so solid I could probably hang off that thing. Highly recommend these if you’re looking for a high strength 270 mounting option. FAQ
